Supported Assets

Nova Wallet currently supports the following digital currencies, each selected to provide fast, stable, and legally compliant payments across Thailand and beyond.

Digital Dollar (USDT)

The core unit of account in Nova Wallet is Digital Dollar, which represents your balance in USDT (Tether) on the Kaia blockchain.

USDT is a stablecoin backed 1:1 by the US dollar and widely used across the global crypto ecosystem. It offers the speed and borderless nature of crypto with the price stability of the USD — making it ideal for everyday payments, international transfers, and holding value without volatility.

KAIA (Kaia Token)

KAIA is the native token of the Kaia blockchain — a fast, secure, and eco-friendly Layer 1 network designed for real-world financial applications.

In Nova Wallet, KAIA can be:

  • Deposited and held

  • Used for payments (where supported)

  • Automatically converted to THB for PromptPay transactions

Kaia is optimized for low fees, fast confirmation times, and integration with regional financial partners — making it a strong technical foundation for Nova Wallet.

Thai Baht (THB)

All transactions made through Nova Wallet are settled in Thai Baht when paying Thai merchants. This is done via integration with PromptPay, the national QR payment network of Thailand.

With PromptPay, users can:

  • Pay at physical stores (scanning QR codes)

  • Pay for online purchases

  • Send money to Thai phone numbers, citizen ID numbers, or bank accounts

  • Make payments and business transfers

Your crypto balance (USDT or KAIA) is automatically converted into the exact THB amount required for each transaction. This means merchants receive legal, local currency payments — instantly and with full compliance through our regulated partner.

Nova Wallet makes it easy to hold value in stablecoins, convert on the fly, and pay in local currency — all from one simple wallet. More currencies and networks will be added as we grow.
